This notice is used to inform the tenant to pay the overdue rent amounts.
A notice is essential before taking legal action against the defaulting tenant.
As per article 25 of Law No. 33/2008 Amending some Provisions of Law No. 26 of 2007 Regulating the Relationship between Landlords and Tenants in the Emirate of Dubai, a landlord may demand eviction of tenant from the real property prior to expiry of tenancy period if the tenant fails to pay rent value, or part thereof within 30 days of the landlord’s notification for payment, provided that the landlord notifies the tenant through the notary public or by registered mail.
